Clinical Psychologist Edlin Gulzari

Edlin Gulzari completed her undergraduate degree in psychology and theater at Rutgers University in 2021. She completed an internship at Eflatun Psychology and the Infant Mental Health Association, and worked as a communications officer at the Women's Rights Digital Data Platform. She completed her Master's degree in the Child-Adolescent sub-branch of the Clinical Psychology Program at Istanbul Bilgi University in 2025. Currently, she conducts psychoanalytically oriented counseling work with children, adolescents, and young adults, and provides parent counseling at TinUs Psychology. In her work, she utilizes psychoanalytic, emotion-regulation focused, and mentalization-based interventions. She works as a volunteer at the Social Policy, Gender Identity, and Sexual Orientation Studies Association (SPoD) and is a member of the Turkish Psychologists Association (TPD). She is a practitioner of the Child, Mother, and Father Development Workshops (CABA), which aim to develop children's social skills and parents' parenting skills. She is a practitioner of Regulation-Focused Child Counseling (RFP-C), developed for children experiencing externalizing difficulties. She served as a research assistant in research projects led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sibel Halfon titled 'Effectiveness and Mechanisms of Change in Mentalization-Based Counseling for Children (MBT-C)' and 'Pragmatic Randomized Controlled Trial of Regulation-Focused Counseling for Children with Externalizing and Accompanying Internalizing/Externalizing Difficulties.' She completed the Mentalization-Based Family Counseling Training (Anna Freud Centre), the Embodied Interaction Skills Training for Counselors (Zeynep Catay), and the DIR Floortime 101 Training (The International Council on Development and Learning, Inc.).
