He graduated from Duke University Psychology Department in 2002. He worked as a psychologist at AMATEM between 2002-2003. He received his master's degree from Long Island University Clinical Psychology Department in 2005. He completed his doctorate in Clinical Psychology in 2009 at George Washington University. He conducts individual psychoanalytic psychological counseling with adults and adolescents at TinUs Psychology Center, of which he is a co-founder. He works with lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) individuals. He provides training for mental health professionals at the Social Policies, Gender Identity, and Sexual Orientation Studies Association (SPoD). He provides supervision and thesis advising at Bilgi University Clinical Psychology Master's Program. Additionally, he conducts psychological counseling sessions in English.
