Tin Us was founded in 2015 to bring together experts in the fields of adult, child, adolescent, couple, and family counseling under a framework of shared values and principles; in 2026, it began operating as an institution affiliated with the Ministry of National Education. Rooted in the professional expertise of specialists who worked together at Boğaziçi University, Tin Us centers its work on reliability, continuous development, ethical practice, and social responsibility. The center aims not only to provide effective and ethical psychological counseling services but also to create a work environment that is open to clients, colleagues, and students, and that supports sharing and professional development. With this purpose in mind, it offers individual and relationship counseling, as well as training sessions and support groups.

For a couple dreaming of having a child, a diagnosis of infertility can mean a shift in a familiar phrase about the future: Conversations that once began with “When we have a child…” are now accompanied by the question, “Will it ever happen?” This uncertainty can affect not only their plans for parenthood but also their feelings about themselves and their relationship.

Children’s daily lives are filled with school, play, social interactions, rules, expectations and a multitude of different stimuli. Sometimes children may find it difficult to understand the emotions they are experiencing, to focus their attention, to calm down when they feel anxious, or to stop themselves when they become angry. Mindfulness is a skill that can help children become aware of the present moment and develop a healthier relationship with their inner world.
Founded in 2015, Tin Us Psychology continues to operate as a private guidance and psychological counseling center licensed by the Ministry of National Education.
