Beyza Kökçü

Beyza Kökçü graduated with honors in 2018 from the Department of Psychology at Özyeğin University, where she studied on a full scholarship. She continued her master’s studies on a full scholarship in the Couple and Family Therapy Program at Özyeğin University, where she completed a thesis. Beyza Kökçü graduated from the master’s program with high honors; her thesis focused on the experience of parental infidelity among adult children. As a member of the Education Institutes Unit of the European Federation for Couple and Family Therapy (EFTA-TIC) and accredited by the International Family Therapy Association (IFTA), she conducted clinical work with individuals, couples, and families at the Özyeğin University Couple and Family Center between 2020 and 2021 as part of her master’s program in Couple and Family Therapy at Özyeğin University. During her training, she completed Emotion-Focused Individual, Couple, and Family Therapy training under the auspices of the Emotion-Focused Individual, Couple, and Family Therapy Association, including Emotion-Focused Individual Therapy (Modules 1 and 2) with Ting Liu and Senem Zeytinoğlu Saydam, and Emotion-Focused Couple Therapy Module 1 Module, and from Roy Kiessling and Serkan Özgün at the EMDR Therapy Association (EMDRIA) for EMDR (Modules 1 and 2), and has begun actively applying these techniques in her clinical practice. Beyza Kökçü, who continues her counseling work with couples, families, and individuals, simultaneously conducts seminars and workshops for parents and couples at various institutions and organizations.
