Beyza Kokcu completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology with honors at Ozyegin University in 2018, which she attended on a full scholarship. She continued her education in the Master's program with thesis in Clinical Psychology (Couples and Family sub-branch) at Ozyegin University on a scholarship. Graduating as a high honors student, she wrote her Master's thesis on the experiences of parental infidelity among adult children. As part of her graduate education in the Couples and Family sub-branch at Ozyegin University, which is a member of the European Family Therapy Association Chamber of Training Institutes (EFTA-TIC) and accredited by the IFTA, she conducted clinical work with individuals, couples, and families at the Ozyegin University Couples and Family Center between 2020-2021. Throughout her education, she completed training in Emotion-Focused Individual Counseling (Modules 1 and 2) from Ting Liu and Senem Zeytinoglu Saydam, Emotion-Focused Couples Counseling (Module 1) from Senem Zeytinoglu Saydam, and EMDR (Modules 1 and 2) from Roy Kiessling and Serkan Ozgun under the EMDR Association. She actively integrates these methods into her clinical practice. While continuing her counseling work with couples, families, and individuals, Beyza Kokcu concurrently conducts seminars and workshops for parents and couples at various institutions and organizations.
